After all, many of the modern go-to foods and snacks are high in carbs, making them useless for anyone following ketosis. Nevertheless, there are some amazing alternatives out there, including the 42 different keto snacks on this list.
Sure, there are many simple snacks out there as well, such as seeds, string cheese, jerky and nut butters. But, there’s something even better about snacks you make yourself. All of these recipes are examples of exactly that and they come from food various food bloggers across the internet.
Even if you don’t like all of them, some of these options are bound to be exactly what you’re looking for. The snacks are also a great way to add some diversity into your diet and make it easier to stick to overall.
This first selection of snacks involve sweet, or sweet-ish options. Realistically, many keto snacks aren’t all that sweet, although recipe creators often provide information about changing up the sweetness. But, these snacks are all good choices for anyone with a sweet tooth, along with people who miss traditional treats like brownies, fudge and ice cream.

As the author mentions, the snack is also a good way to get extra collagen into your diet, a process that can improve health.
The author is also somewhat of an expert in paleo cooking, having been involved in four different recipe books. While those are focused on paleo, not keto, some of the recipes provided would be effective for keto meals and snacks.

I mentioned fudge earlier but here is a second Keto Fudge recipe, this time from one of my favorite recipe sites. Honestly, this recipe is worth checking out for the additional information on keto and the comments section overall. Both areas offer considerable insight into how individuals find ketosis, how they feel and the challenges that they face along the way.
The author here is another expert on the field and she has multiple keto cookbooks currently available. The most recent of these is Keto Restaurant Favorites, which offers recipes for making keto versions of restaurant food, in the comfort of your own home.

This particular recipe is for Pumpkin Pie Bites and these fat bombs work well for getting the right macros. But, more than that, they make for an appealing snack, one that is just a little bit different.

That’s perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to keep sweet snacks in the house. The recipe is also easy to prepare, taking around five minutes from start to finish.
Sweet snacks are often wonderful but they’re not always the right choice. Instead, there are many cases where a savory option can work better, especially if you’re feeling a little hungry. Besides, many of us prefer savory snacks to sweet ones anyway.

After all, many people do struggle with the eating style and I love The Lazy Keto’s down-to-earth way of talking.

Even if you’re not a fan of zucchini, it’s worth trying these fries out, as they really do come together well. The recipe does take a bit of work to prepare but, trust me, it’s worth it. You could also make these as a meal but I prefer them as a simple snack and they would probably be just as good warm or cold.

But, because you’re using zucchini instead, this recipe would be considerably less heavy, making it perfect as a snack. The combination of flavors here works extremely well and you end up with a dish that feels decadent, even though it isn’t.

As the name suggests, the snack is a variation on the FatHead pizza recipe, which has become extremely popular in its own right. Personally, I love the way these crackers turn out and they’re nice and easy to make as well.
Bacon Chicken Tenders

This final recipe actually has two components. The first is the Bacon Chicken Tenders, while the second is the mustard dip – both of which can be seen in the image. I love the idea of these tenders as a snack, especially as they can be reheated without a problem. Additionally, you could serve them as pictured and make a meal out of the tenders. Either way, this is a great recipe and well-worth trying out.
In many ways, this list barely scratches the surface. At this point, there are probably hundreds of different keto snack lists out there, along with countless individual recipes.
But, these recipes are a great place to get started. Plus, most of the sites offer a wide range of other keto meals and snacks – so you’ll never run out of ideas.
