This first selection of snacks involve sweet, or sweet-ish options. Realistically, many keto snacks aren’t all that sweet, although recipe creators often provide information about changing up the sweetness. The previous two examples are both fairly common snacks for anyone watching their carbs and there are many similar recipes on other sites. On the other hand, this Chocolate Gelatin Pudding is a little bit different. As the author mentions, the snack is also a good way to get extra collagen into your diet, a process that can improve health.

The author is also somewhat of an expert in paleo cooking, having been involved in four different recipe books. While those are focused on paleo, not keto, some of the recipes provided would be effective for keto meals and snacks.

Both areas offer considerable insight into how individuals find ketosis, how they feel and the challenges that they face along the way.

The author here is another expert on the field and she has multiple keto cookbooks currently available. The most recent of these is Keto Restaurant Favorites, which offers recipes for making keto versions of restaurant food, in the comfort of your own home.

While we’re on the topic of brownies, this Chocolate Brownie Mug Cake is another recipe that you can try out. Mug cakes always make a great snack because you’re preparing a much smaller serving size. That’s perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to keep sweet snacks in the house. The recipe is also easy to prepare, taking around five minutes from start to finish.

Savory Snacks

Sweet snacks are often wonderful but they’re not always the right choice. Instead, there are many cases where a savory option can work better, especially if you’re feeling a little hungry. Besides, many of us prefer savory snacks to sweet ones anyway.

With that in mind, the remainder of the snacks are all savory. They encompass a range of different flavors and styles, with some being fast and easy snacks, while others may take more work to prepare.

These Keto Cheese Meatballs could be the snack of choice for many keto followers, especially if you’re a fan of hearty food. As the author notes, grass-fed ground beef is a healthier choice overall and would help you to get the most benefits from this snack.

For many people on a keto diet, missing bread is one of the biggest challenges. While there are keto bread recipes, they are never quite the same. Nevertheless, some recipes do get close. These Vegan Keto Bagel Thins are designed to mimic bagels, particularly crunchy toasted bagels. The author does a great job at achieving this too and the thin bagels make a perfect breakfast or snack.

Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Muffins

If you’re a fan of cheesy snacks, then you shouldn’t go past these Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms. The fun thing is that the recipe works with most types of mushroom. Even if you’re not a fan of zucchini, it’s worth trying these fries out, as they really do come together well. Plus, the recipe only uses a handful of ingredients, so it’s easy to shop for and to prepare.

For that matter, these fries could quickly become your go-to keto snack.

Coconut Curry Chicken Tenders

Image from ruled.me

These Coconut Curry Chicken Tenders come from ruled.me, which is one of my favorite sites for all things keto. Seriously, they have amazing resources on there, along with a wide range of different recipes. But, these chicken tenders were the ones that caught my eye. After all, tenders do work well as a snack because of the protein from the chicken.

The recipe does take a bit of work to prepare but, trust me, it’s worth it. You could also make these as a meal but I prefer them as a simple snack and they would probably be just as good warm or cold.

Loaded Hasselback Zucchini

Loaded Hassleback Zucchini

You could also cut down the recipe and make just enough for a quick snack, if you choose to.

These Low Carb FatHead Crackers may seem simple but having one good cracker recipe at hand is critical for anyone following a ketosis (or a low-carb) diet. After all, crackers make for good snacks on their own and they also combine well with so many different things. As the name suggests, the snack is a variation on the FatHead pizza recipe, which has become extremely popular in its own right. Personally, I love the way these crackers turn out and they’re nice and easy to make as well.

Bacon Chicken Tenders

Bacon Chicken Tenders with Mustard Dip

This final recipe actually has two components. The first is the Bacon Chicken Tenders, while the second is the mustard dip – both of which can be seen in the image. I love the idea of these tenders as a snack, especially as they can be reheated without a problem. Additionally, you could serve them as pictured and make a meal out of the tenders. Either way, this is a great recipe and well-worth trying out.
