Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting goes against conventional wisdom, suggesting that periods of fasting can significantly help with weight loss and overall health. This idea is partly based on the cellular process of autophagy, along with the idea that we simply shouldn’t be eating as often as we do.

There are various forms of intermittent fasting, including variations where people only eat for 8 hours each day or cases where people are doing longer-term fasts. But, research and personal accounts confirm that intermittent fasting can work well for health and for weight loss.
